Group Schedule

 

Anger Management Groups

For dates and times on all available groups select the following link Group Schedule and you will be directed to the schedule for groups, presentations and workshops.

Currently, there are three Anger Management Groups.

Men Only 

Women Only 

Co-ed Young Adult 17 to 21

Adult Groups

This is a 12 week psycho-educational/cognitive behavioral group focused on recognizing the intensity of the emotion anger, the differences in anger & aggressive behavior, assertive communication and techniques for managing emotions, especially, anger.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the differences between Anger and Aggression

  • Learn how taking responsibility for your own feelings an actions can help you feel self empowered

  • Learn how thoughts and beliefs affect feelings and drive  behavior

  • Learn how to recognize angry feelings before they become aggressive behaviors.

  • Learn the different styles of communication and how to use them in the right situation and at the right time

  • Learn techniques for relaxation and managing angry feelings

  • Recognize Healthy Relationships
