Dream Interpretation Workshop

Bring a dream!

We will explore one method for interpreting your dream.  We will use as many member dreams as time allows and follow the sequence for interpreting.  You will learn how to interpret your own dreams.  Be prepared to share.  See the Events page for more information on how to register.

Mask Making Workshop

Mask making is a very personal intimate experience.  It is best if you have a close friend or a partner to work with you so that you can help each other make your masks.  Mask making involves trust and can be a great opportunity for increasing the depth of your connection with your friend or partner and increasing the depth of understanding within yourself.  Take a few minutes to go to these web sites:

"The process sets the stage for a dynamic experience that invites an intimate exchange between two people. Issues that arise from the experience are related to intimacy, trust, faith, and compassion. The person having the mask made may have up to 45 minutes under the mask. The time under the mask while waiting for it to dry is an opportunity for a reflection experience, which is an important part of experiential learning." (1991, Jones, Angela Thomas)

Mask Making: The Use of Expressive Arts with Leadership Development

There is a lot of research supporting the view that mask making is a very unique experience that brings with it a spectrum of benefits.  It can also be a scary process and feeling safe is an important factor in the making.

Mask making workshops are scheduled for two consecutive Sunday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.  Each session is 2 hours.

I will supply the clay tape, sand paper, paint, glue and some decorative materials i.e. beads, glitter, ribbons etc.  If you have trinkets, special paint or something else special you wish to attach to your mask you are welcome to bring them with you.  You will also need to bring some personal items such as,

Paper Towels

Yoga Matt or something similar

Wash Cloth and hand towel

Small Container of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly

Some different size paint brushes (depending on your artistic desire).

I would bring a portable container with your name on it so that you can easily identify and transport your materials.
