I am an eclectic licensed psychotherapist, a retired Professor of Psychology from  Hudson Valley Community College. I have served as a supervisory liaison for The College of St Rose graduate counseling students in their internships.  Currently, I am a full time presenter and psychotherapist,  providing counseling and education to the Saratoga County and Capital Region community from my office in Clifton Park, New York.  

​I have over twenty years experience working in psychiatric hospitals, mental health agencies in Ohio, Massachusetts and New York.  I have licenses in all three of these states though my license in New York is the only license currently active.  I realized, after years of dedicated service to every client that I have ever worked with, that the work that I provided in those agencies was often scripted and dictated.  Although my clients were making changes, it seemed something critically important was missing. 

Through my own self reflection, I looked to my own journey and a variety of theories and theorists;  Carl G. Jung,  Roberto Asagioli, Ken Wilbur and Francis Vaughan to name just a few, and numerous colleagues of the same and different disciplines for answers and found more in depth questions than I had set out to answer in the first place.   Throughout this quest, I realized how important it was to allow my work, and my life, to be guided more intuitively.    I included  numerous connections and multiple pathways  to my understanding of my life and my way of approaching this work and developed and continue to develop a practice that includes a psycho-spiritual approach. 

My personal, spiritual and professional growth continues to integrate traditional theory, intuitiveness and Psycho-spiritual approaches to healing.   I guess you could say that my own personal quest led me to a much richer, intuitively guided , unscripted life and work, with the success of my work measured through each individual clients' journey.

​As a counselor, I recognize each of my clients as a partner in the work and an individual in the world bringing his or her own unique experience and understanding of those experiences.  The information shared is the fabric from which we explore the journey and the energy that gives us the strength to navigate along our path with intention and integrity.
